How to use Shagle is two operating paths, not a long setup. Random Match is for speed: you skip the shortlist and connect. Browse First is for choice: you look through portraits and choose who catches your eye. Both land in a private 1-on-1 video chat. Neither path requires an app. Confirm you are 18+ and pick the door that fits the moment.

Pick the path that matches what “faster” means for you. Random Match is faster when you want a session now and do not want to browse. Browse First is faster when you know you will leave a random session that is not a fit — choosing first can save the skip. Neither path is an algorithm guarantee. Fast responses are the aim; availability still varies, and we do not publish a timer.
A practical rule of thumb: if you already know you care who is on camera, browse. If you want to talk now and will skip anyway, match randomly. That is a usage choice, not a ranking trick. We will not claim the product always picks “better” matches on one door than the other.
